| 78094 | 2002-09-09 21:38:00 | Do you know where the Temporary Internet Files folder is in Windows XP? It's in a completely different location from Windows 98, which would explain why you can't find it when you type in the location. In windows XP the Temporary Internet Files folder is found at: C:\Documents and Settings\User Account\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files Where "User Account" is the name of the User Account you are using. You might need to turn on viewing of all files and folders by Tools > Folder Options > View, then under Advanced Settings select "Show all files and folders" and click OK. Then you should be able to view your Temporary Internet Files much the same as you did under Windows 98. HTH Mike. |

I'm probably going to have Win XP on my next machine later this year and it's pretty scary how much relearning there is going to be, by the sound of it. :-( |
