78047	2002-09-09 07:09:00	After recently having to reload everything on to my HD after a crash, and weeping copious tears about all the data which has now gone forever, I decided I would take the advice I was given years ago and perform regular backups to minimise at least, any future loss. So off to programs/accessories/backup in XP and 'hello', no such program. Come to think of it I think I last had this facility in Win95. So then to Dick Smith and others to buy a backup program, but no success. 'Where to now?' I thought. PressF1 that's where! Who can suggest a good incremental backup to CD to be done on a weekly basis. To be a true incremental backup I'd need to use CD-RW disks I guess. What do all you guys and gals use. 78048	2002-09-09 07:25:00	I have an old PC on the network that doesn't do much other than play music, so have just finished a (very messy) Windows script file to do incremental backups. I will use the scheduling agent (mstask.exe) to run it early each morning, once I've tidied up the code a bit.	antmannz (28)
78049	2002-09-09 07:34:00	You do have backup for XP, it is just not part of the stardard installation. Follow these (support.microsoft.com) instructions on how to manually install from your XP CD.	Jen C (20)
78050	2002-09-09 08:33:00	Jen C You are absolutely marvellous. the depths of Morrowind must be quite an incredible place. Fancy the program being there all the time, hidden away like so many other things. Probably put there by a woman, so we men couldn't find it. I'll bet there are a lot of others too, who had no knowledge of this location. Maybe some will own up to the fact that, like me, they have never fully explored their WXP cd.
