77941 2002-09-10 20:31:00 right cliking 'my computer' and going to properties takes you to the 'system' applet as found in control panel......this does NOT tell you the speed of your computer........it'll tell you say.......'pentium II' but that's all .......it WILL tell you the amount of ram you have......a way of telling the speed of your puter.........goto start/run then type in 'dxdiag' and hit enter.....the dxdiag prog on the first tab tells you the puter speed usually......otherwise watch your screen when you start the puter and it'll tell you the processor speed somewhere there .......when you get to the interesting bits......just hit the 'pause' button on the keyboard to stop everything and take a look .....hit enter to continue..... drcspy (146)
