78400 2002-09-11 03:01:00 In my msconfig/startup I have several repeated items, eg Load Power profile, scheduling Agent etc. How can I get rid of the duplicates?
Thanks for your help.

78403 2002-09-11 03:29:00 Bearing in mind the above advice download and run RegCleaner. It alows you to romove items from the startup(MSCONFIG) menu Colpol (444)
78404 2002-09-11 03:30:00 A bit more - I have unticked both Scheduling agent & Task Monitor. Someone recently on this forum listed a web site that explains them all, so maybe they will re-post.

78406 2002-09-11 04:43:00 Eeek - a bit costly. Appears to do much the same as RegCleaner.

Yes, apparently you do if you actually use them but they aren't essential. Well, I hope they aren't because I've unticked mine. :D

The website previously mentioned to check your startup items is pacs-portal (www.pacs-portal.co.uk).
