| 78746 | 2002-09-12 02:40:00 | Using internet explorer 6 in conjunction with xp pro. On trying to access web pages I receive the message page wont open and these addresses appear in the address bar.No matter what URL I try to use as a home page or type in the same results occur. This is a broadband connection which has been checked for any faults. this one appears while setting up a home page url in tools. res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm likewise this one when accessing any link or url directly in explorer www.microsoft.com I have renewed and reloaded explorer several times without success.Have I been infiltrated by some wacky worm or bug that got through my zone alarm or anti virus.Help please,my sanity is further at risk |

Installing XP service pack 1 would also be a good move. |
