1312242 2012-11-13 19:53:00 Might give it a go, if nothing else just so I can complain about how awful it still is :D Nick G (16709)
1312243 2012-11-13 19:55:00 Why use a preview version on an older OS when you have the newest version of the same dog turd on a newer OS :D pcuser42 (130)
1312244 2012-11-13 22:31:00 Seems ok on windows 8, apparently they've improved the stadards compatibility. But then I'm perfectly happy with IE9 and see no reason to use any of the others.
I won't play with the preview though, I'll wait until 10 is released through windows update and get it then.

1312245 2012-11-13 23:43:00 What is up with putting the tabs and address bar on the same line?

Not everyone has a 40-foot widescreen monitor, and even if they do, having them both on the same line looks lilke crap anyway.

I hope they can be separated.

1312246 2012-11-13 23:57:00 I hope they can be separated. They can in IE9, pretty sure they can be in IE10 as well. And a lot of people have widescreen monitors these days ;) pcuser42 (130)

It's still idiotic, in fact on widescreen it's even more idiotic, because then it's taking the extra width available and wasting it.

NOTE: PRESSF1 / FairfaX -- fix the image up loader to modern times please, it cant handle IE10, it simply goes nowhere just a activity circle going round and round for ever. Does the same thing in Windows 8 /IE, you have to use a Browser IE9 or below, or some other browser.

Or in other words, gives more real estate to the content ;) Personally I prefer Firefox's approach of putting the tabs in the title bar though. pcuser42 (130)

Didn't Chrome do that first?
