1289365 2012-07-19 06:35:00 When I was in the ATC they used to take us at weekends during the summer to RAF Wellesbourne Mountford near Stratford where we were given flights in Ansons and Oxfords.
These planes had been modified for aerial photographic training and had 3 or 4 holes about 18" to 2 feet diameter along the bottom of the fuselage where large cameras would be fitted.

There were no seats and we had to hang on where we could. There was a pile of parachutes in case they were needed down the back of the plane.:rolleyes:

Great fun was had trying to push each other out through the holes :)
