| 79356 | 2002-09-14 00:05:00 | A friends computer recently was infected witht the dreaded Klez virus, have run the fix programme from Symantec's site and run a scan from their site also and it now appears to be clean. But now the Norton anti-virus programme can't be opened (unsure as to whether it was damaged before or after the virus hit) and need to un-install before I can re-install it again. It does not show up in the add/remove programmes and wondered how else it can be uninstalled. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

The other way is to go here (service4.symantec.com) and do it manually. Lots of work but the upside is (well it worked for me anyway) that you get a fresh installation with new subsription renewal date. sam m |
