| 79877 | 2002-09-16 01:18:00 | hi, i have recently installed cpu idle pro. i am also running mbm 5.2, which prior to installing cpu idle generally reported the cpu temp as 55 (give or take). at the moment it is reporting 30 and is usually about 35. if this is for real then a 20 degree drop is great, the documentation said to expect up to 10 degree reduction. does this programme really work or does it just falsify the temp readings. (cpu idle integrates with mbm). thanx |

| 79879 | 2002-09-16 03:45:00 | Why would it falsify temperature readings? Nah, it does help reduce CPU temp - sometimes by very little, sometimes (like in your case it seems) by a fair amount :) Mike. |
