79873 2002-09-16 00:42:00 Hi a while back I downloaded a file for includung support for my winmodem in Linux, this file has the extension rar. I assume this is some sort of archive file, if so what do I use to extract the encaptulated files? If this is something else what is it? Thanks. SaAB (1292)

79875 2002-09-16 01:44:00 If its for Linux, you'l probably want to unrar it under linux, not windows. Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't, but the rar archive was initially a Unix thing. SoniKalien (792)
