| 79729 | 2002-09-15 10:33:00 | Help!! Downloaded what I thought was a driver from the net... went to install it, and it screwed up my PC... When it restarted, there were files all over the desktop... links on the desktop didn't work.. I couldn't explore "my computer" ... can't add or remove programs... can't even get into Nero to back stuff up before re-installing, etc... There's always a window which says "Windows REgistry Checker" could not access, etc... Windows will now restart, to correct errors... I have no idea what has happened, and am stuck big time... am emailing from my laptop... anyone have any ideas???? :_| |
