| 79830 | 2002-09-16 01:25:00 | Is this the "terminal screen" window? If it is, in Dial-up Networking (My Computer), right click on your ISP, choose Properties>Scripting and put a tick in "Start terminal screen minimized". |

| 79831 | 2002-09-16 06:50:00 | Thank you Susan B - as usual you are a lifesaver-- BUT- it did not work-- I have ( through economics sake 2 ISP - one for my permanent address but which the firm wants an arm and a leg to have idefinite usuage and another which though not as widespread as the first - is comparitively cheaper over long usuage.. The first firm - does not have that predial screen show- and your advice was spot on for that - But when I came to the second ISP and found the tick was missing / ticked it- but it made no difference Keep coming Susan B you must be on the right track - would it need a reboot to activate? |

| 79832 | 2002-09-16 07:39:00 | No Susan B a reboot did not work- the tick was missing on the errant ISP as you stated but------- I copied the settings in the ISP window- each is identical to the other more ---please? |

| 79835 | 2002-09-16 11:31:00 | This is how you prevent the terminal window appearing Double click my computer Double click dialup networking Right click ISP connection icon and left click Properties Click Configure at the bottom Click on Options Tab at the top Remove ticks from both boxes Bring up terminal window before and after dialing Click OK at the bottom. |
