| 79821 | 2002-09-16 07:14:00 | You may need to do what is called pinholing (or it is with ADSL routers). Which is where you completely open up the port that is needed for it. It might also be possible to forward a particular port. One thing does come to mind though...... why are you using vanessa, you could just use a ICQ client on sam. |

| 79822 | 2002-09-16 07:24:00 | As a short term solution you are probably right -=JM=-, My lack of time to put into sam is inhibiting my learning of a very worth while set of skills. There is only one reason why i need to have icq working on the doze machine(s). By about 2003, there should be 4 computers in the network, as assuming that jobs can be transfered over here etc etc, my better½ comes to live in the new place, and we will need to have all these bugs ironed out so not only vanessa, but also my better½s computer (angel), plus a planned one for her son, can share the cable modem |
