| 79755 | 2002-09-15 10:42:00 | Okay people here's my problems , i have 3 computers with network cards through a hub , two have modems one doesn't , i want to let the one without a modem (windows XP ) to access the internet using one or both of the other computers, one is win98 the other is running win98se. The other problem i have is The win98 and the win98se can see and share files but the win XP cannot see the win98se computer but can see the win98 one and acess its files , confused, i am. The Xp comp and the Win98 one have ips of 169.254.216.178 and the other is 169.254.160.83 but the win98se ip is 192.168.0.2 , what should i change the win98se ip to if i should at all. I hope this makes sense to anyone out there thanks in advance |
