I used the search wizard to gather all the media files on the c drive ,before i did this i only had 20 songs and 5 videos , 50 images .. but now i have 200 songs 2000 images 60 software programs every time i turn it on it looks like it's sucking everything out of the computer.. 8'000 sofar. i'm going to uninstall it but will it take all these files with it ..??????? ?:| | johnboy (217) | ||
| 79643 | 2002-09-15 07:35:00 | uninstalling KaZaA lite will not remove any media on your system . Not quite sure what you mean by the extra songs & images... did you perhaps download some obscure crack/patch/hack... ??? or do you mean the media wizard searches the PC everytime you start it up?? |

| 79644 | 2002-09-15 07:48:00 | It's called the Benjamin Virus, first off you need to get the newest version of Kazaa lite and also go to www.bitdefender.com and search for anti benjamin (Its a program to remove it obviously, it's slow but hey, it's free!). It basically makes bogus files so when people see your files they get bogus crap which gets them the virus and so on.. Hope this helps :) |

| 79645 | 2002-09-15 07:50:00 | Yes it searchs every time i turn it on ..Theres other users on computer .. every now and then i collect up all the songs on the whole computer and put them on cd ' but this time it's gone haywire .. I was worried if i uninstalled it it would take everything with it ...thanks alot :) | johnboy (217) | ||
