| 79886 | 2002-09-16 04:26:00 | I have found a quick way to refill the ink tanks on my Canon 3000. For the first refill you need to remove the tank from the print head and either push in the ball bearing or remove the ball with the tool supplied with the refill bottle. Fill the tank. Then, and this is the cunning bit, replace the ball with the rubber bung that comes with the refill bottle. Yes it fits neatly into the hole and gives a tight fit. The next time you run low on ink, just pull out the bung (don't remove the tank from the machine) fill 'er up and put the bung back in. I have been using this method for nearly 18 months without any problems. Peter Anderson |
