80632 2002-09-18 08:01:00 I've installed a Video Capture card (32MEG M64
NVIDIA TNT2 AGP TV OUT/VIDEO IN) but when I run the Video Capture software Ulead 3.0SE it gives me a message "Could not Create VideoPort".
After saying this 15 times it then says "Error:Connection to capture driver failure:Driver may be in use or has been moved".
I'm running Win98 and have loaded all service packs and drivers for both Win98 and the card without any success. Does this only work with Win98SE?
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

80633 2002-09-18 22:52:00 I've got a friend with the same problem.... in fact its exactly the same problem. Don't have a solution though ;) Dolby Digital (160)
80634 2002-09-18 23:28:00 Presume that you have checked everything is OK in TNT 2 properties & also C/P - system - device manager ?

80635 2002-09-19 06:42:00 Yup. Both drivers and devices are saying everything is perfect. The card works fine for games and will playback video. Just won't allow capture - kinda important when its a capture card! Anymore ideas? markl (1936)
80636 2002-09-19 06:43:00 Dolby Digital - can you ask your friend what he has done about it? markl (1936)
80637 2002-09-19 12:08:00 What sort of video capture drivers does it use? WDM or Video for Windows (VFW) Do other apps like Windows Media Encoder (free from the MS site) see the capture device OK? If so it may be a problem with Ulead not liking the driver type, rather than a problem with the card. BIFF (1)
80638 2002-09-19 22:28:00 Not sure how to determine if WDM or VFW driver - have looked in driver details and I can't tell. Other Apps do exactly the same thing so I don't think its the Ulead software at fault. markl (1936)
