| 80458 | 2002-09-17 11:50:00 | I am going to instal IE6. Can I uninstal the two previous versions first before I instal version 6 i.e.version 4.0 & 5.5? It seems to be a waste of disk space to have them sitting there if they are not needed. Then again they may have to remain if needed by the new version. Your comments please. | Peter M (852) | ||

| 80460 | 2002-09-17 12:31:00 | depending on the install you can uninstall IE5.5 and it will goback to IE4. IE is intergrated with windows so a total uninstall in not advised (unless you want to lose a few features of windows). you can use IEeradictor to either completly uninstall IE or 'break it' and uninstall most of it without loseing the windows features. then you can install IE6 fresh. |
