| 80355 | 2002-09-17 10:16:00 | I thought I would subscribe to P C World & have just had a look at the subscription page online. OUCH. I thought it was $39.50 a year, but appears to be $89 a year. So that is that good intention out of the window. Sad Poppa John :( | Poppa John (284) | ||
| 80356 | 2002-09-17 10:33:00 | Another of IDG's computer magazines is called "Internet Magazine" or IMAG. It does only cover internet stuff but comes with a CD of goodies each month and is usually a good read. It is $3.95 per issue (Monthly) or $36.50 for an annual subscription. IMAG home page (http://www.netnow.co.nz/) Subscriptions (www.netnow.co.nz) I don't know whether that interests you or not. Jen |

PLUS you get perks like Gear magazine thrown in free a couple of months ago, and the chance to vote for the peoples choice awards, etc. People whom can't afford a sub should perhaps miss a month or two, and save up for one. They can back order to get the issues they missed, and it will actually save them money in the end. False economy to say you can't buy a sub due to the cost, but then go buy every issue anyway! G P |

I don't think I could go without my monthly fix, just so I could save up $90 to cave $8.50....... BALDY:-) |
