www.tim-mann.org

with this you can import games from grandmasters and play them out move by move, play yr own games against the computer - save positions - most anything you wish...

the download is rather large if you wish to import the games database...

80308 2003-02-04 01:09:00 Try a search for Arasan.

This assumes you want a FREE Chess program you want to play at home and NOT online.

You can get into MSN for Chess ONLINE and it's FREE.

I hope this helps.

80309 2003-02-04 08:30:00 Hi everyone,

I was just browsing around, and was abit taken away, of the replies still coming in...

Anyway, I got a chess game in the end for Xmas and this was one of those package special thingees...well, its called "GrandMaster Chess" Ultra. It came with a few bundled games with it too. Its a good game so far, and it doesn't come with extra luggage. Just the basics.!

I suppose that good games don't come easy and free.

At least with this one, if I shall ever want to challenge anyone of you online sometime in the future, I at least know that I don't have to be on live connection now just to play the game.

Until when I beat the computer, til next time....

Thanks!
