| 80222 | 2002-09-17 01:03:00 | Hi all, Is anyone here aware of a program that counts the words in a Word/Notepad or HTML document and lists them in order of occurrence? I've had a look around the search engines but come up emptyhanded. Any help *very* much appreciated. Cheers, Craig |

I don't know of any apps that would do this, but there may be a way around it. If you could get an app to read the file (text onlt, not HTML) with spaces indicating the end of the fields, you could then simply use a statistics app that could analyse the data set and give results on the stats. Don't know of one though. G P |

| 80230 | 2002-09-17 11:17:00 | Poopa John. Ermmm, it's a bit embarrassing. I had a wee wager with a friend as to how many times a song had been played by a certain band. Found their website with more information than you could possibly want, press f1 found me a text analyser, and hey presto, I've lost the bet. Can anyone lend me a fiver? Craig |

| 80231 | 2002-09-17 11:51:00 | LOL. Like PJ I was wondering myself why you would need that. I was thinking crossword or some word game. Never would have guessed that one ... or there would actually be a website that does it. Amazing thing this internet :-) | parry (27) | ||
