| 81085 | 2002-09-19 09:17:00 | Hi, in reguards to the question about CD Writting, I am just learing to use CR-RW Drives to. Umm, how to I put CD Text on a CD-R/RW?? (I am only using XP burning software). And I hear you can tell the CD how long to place a gap between the Track numbers? (0.1-10 seconds isn't it?). Thanks heaps, -=James=- |

| 81086 | 2002-09-19 09:23:00 | Also, any one know a program that will do it all (and not that crappy kitchen thing on T.V LOL). I mean Burn CD's to MP3/WMA/WAV. and MP3 to Wav or WMA. AND!!! WMA to MP3 or Wav?? | JamesStewart (874) | ||

It supports all formats including Ogg Vorbis (Open Source similar to MP#) and MP3 Pro. Of course all of the usuall formats are supported. It also rips tracks from CD's into any format. Why do I like it?? Very small download, and very clean interface, and very fast performance compared to others. As far as burning goes, I have used Roxio's easy CD creator, and Nero. When I first started using Nero from Easy CD, I found it difficult and didn't like it. I was forced to use it when I went to XP, and now I love it and would never go back to Easy CD. New users needn't worry because now Nero Express is out, taking away much of the pain I suffered when I first started using Nero. You cannot specify pauses between tracks using XP's burning software, and to burn audio CD's you need to do it htrough Windows Media PLayer which I found to be buggy, slow, and a pain in the proverbial. Nero can be used to set the pause between tracks. So there you have it. G P |

The XP burning software is too simplified. It is bare-bones burning. CD text may be available through Media Player, but i doubt it. Just get an app like Nero to do these more advanced tasks. G P |
