2002-09-20 07:49:00 | I have been reading the posts the last few days and perhaps a good prize to give away onsite would be subscriptions to PC World and iMag magazine. It appears that almost everyone here reads and purchases one of the two but not that many can afford the sub price in one go. I for one would be more than happy to win a sub instead of software. | 81320 | 2002-09-20 08:45:00 | Hi... Maybe it's time for a subsidiary pocket size cheaper magazine in addition to the current PCWorld...Funnily I still refer to earlier copies but generally less than 10 to 15 %...

2002-09-20 08:52:00 | pocket sized? eh? don't you mean encyclopaedia sized?! i get through the PCWorld in half a day as it is, and then have to wait for a month to get the next one.... i have a subscription, i'd rather not have another thanks.... not that i'm likely to win anything anyway... :D

2002-09-20 10:15:00 | Put your glasses back on antmannz, godfather doesn't have a sub. What I want to know is how do they choose winners? I reckon robo opens up a PF1 page, shuts his eyes and pokes the screen with a pin. The nearest name is the winner. Not good enough, we should have a democratic vote. Winners are then exempt for 12 months. Funny how a lot of them disappear after the mailman has been....

2002-09-20 10:48:00 | feels another flame war coming on Don't mean to be rude or anything, but it has been suggested before. It appears that Those Who Work At PC World are open to suggestions, however that's not to say that they will actually heed them :p Actually I was wondering about that myself, SusanB. .. I'd be happy with a wallet or a sub. Thanks. SiK

2002-09-20 11:08:00 | Uh oh . Whoa!!! Let me hasten to add that I was only jesting! I'm sure robo has a lot of sleepless nights wondering who should be the next worthy one and I'm not questioning his choice of recipients at all . In fact I think it's jolly good of them to provide any prizes . Wanders off struggling to get foot/keyboard out of mouth .
