81042 2002-09-19 10:19:00 EVERY single program I dwonload to copy CD's to MP3's wont read the CD. The CD has all the songs on it (.cda files :/) and and I go to add them to the convert list but the programs don't see the files, therefore NO converstion, :(. What is wrong? JamesStewart (874)
81043 2002-09-19 10:30:00 ok... firstly what OS? certain os's have trouble with the aspi drivers that are used to read the cd.

what cd ripper program have you tried? some need aspi drivers working while others don't.

try nero cd speed to cd drive as well.

81048 2002-09-19 11:20:00 yep, thanks heaps. Umm,I will use this CDex to do my CD's and the other program to do te rest of my work. Got any idea how to add CD TEXT to a CD when I burn it? JamesStewart (874)
81049 2002-09-19 11:41:00 CD TEXT is more to do with the cd writer software.

if cdex as aspi problems look at EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) .
