| 81766 | 2002-09-21 10:50:00 | I'm thinking about setting up a second monitor but from what I read so far, it sounds like I'll end up having the pci monitor as primary. But I don't want that. Running win98. Any ideas, windows help didn't come up with the right answers. |

| 81767 | 2002-09-21 10:57:00 | Ron, Windows display settings should give you the option of telling Windows which monitor/video card to use as primary, and even place the monitors where you want them. This won't stop DOS based programs though using the PCI monitor, unless you change the setting in the BIOS for which video card to boot first - AGP or PCI. Check in your BIOS to see if you can change that option (I can't cause of my stupid Gateway BIOS). Mike. |

| 81769 | 2002-09-21 11:14:00 | Ron, If you right-click on your desktop and click on Properties to open your display properties, select the "Settings" tab, you should be able to set which one is your primary display in there. If not, then Win 98 might not be able to handle it correctly (it should do - I'm sure I tried it out in there once). Mike. |
