81650 2002-09-21 05:53:00 Take a look at THIS (http://www.toolband.com/)

This site is the opposite extreme! :O

It was returned by Copernic in response to a technical search term but I gave up on finding it anywhere soon. :_|

If it is there at all, it must be buried somewhere near the bottom of this black hole.X-(

Cheers

Tool is a band, (i like) the sites cluttered, but i'm finding my way round it OK... you sure you posted the right link?

This ite is really easy to navagete around, but i spose it depends what you are looking for.

81653 2002-09-21 09:51:00 It wasn't the content Chris, it was the all-black opening page with tiny faint print in the middle that you had to endure just to get to the next page to see the all but invisible menus, and so on..........I couldn't hardly read them on a 17" screen :(

The Mad Butcher was garish, but this one was funereal.

81654 2002-09-21 10:04:00 What's wrong with the site. It seems pretty damned nice to me.

If you want to check out a bad site have a look at the NZART (www.nzart.org.nz) in particular this (http:)

81655 2002-09-21 10:07:00 Really?
what browser are you using?

works OK on opera and IE

I get to see a black background, but that is where the similarity stops, almost instantly a big "brian" loads over most of the screen, left side gives main site link, right side the highbandwidth-proccessor intensive stuff..

maybe its just a bit slow to load on dial up?

No, I have dial up, and it opened almost instantly when I checked it on IE5........ On my screen it looked pretty impressive.
