81495 2002-09-20 20:30:00 I recently observed that in windows 2000 there is provision for password protecting the PC from software being installed without consent.
Is this feature available on win 98 without passwording the whole system?
If not are is there software available to carry out this function?
If so what and where from?
Thanks mike

The only thing I can suggest is to look for a utility on the web that will do what you want. A search in Google might be a good start.
