| 81664 | 2002-09-21 06:33:00 | Hey. I was installing an additional case fan off fan point on my motherboard, and when I turned my machine on for the first time, no fans ran except the power supply. The motherboard, CPU and 2 case fans all running form the points on the motherboard no longer work. I am now running 4 fans off the points inside the power supply. What have I fried, and What is the fix, if any. Thanks everyone. Karz |

You need to check where the voltage breakdown is Check at the fan pins with a meter to confirm you don't have 12 v DC then check at the power supply input to the motherboard to see if you have 12v DC from supply(yellow wire I think) If ok then switch circuit on motherboard at fault normally a trany may have cooked depending on the type of motherboard at to whether that can be fixed easily.
