| 81942 | 2002-09-22 04:16:00 | I have installed a Mustek 1200CP Scanner on a Win 95 computer. The the printer still works OK after installing the scanner between the computer and the printer and the software supplied with the scanner installed OK. But when I try to scan something I get a message that the scanner is not connected - check the cable. What have a done wrong? BTW the scanner works fine when installed on another similar Win 95 computer. | Andrew B (867) | ||
| 81943 | 2002-09-22 04:27:00 | (1) Make sure that you have the port set to the correct type (EPP, ECP) in the BIOS . (2) It might work only with the printer turned on . Or off . I am not keen on piggybacking of devices on a printer port . ;-) It depends on too many things, and when the equipment is made by different manufacturers . . . |
