| 81849 | 2002-09-22 01:17:00 | Interesting question. I dont think you can. It could be achieved via code but is hardly worth the trouble. I suggest you just take a note of the page you are up to and type this in the first line then save. You could also bookmark the place your up to by selecting Insert-Bookmark, then use Edit-Goto-Bookmark to find it again. Also seems too much trouble though. :-( | parry (27) | ||
| 81850 | 2002-09-22 11:27:00 | You can either bookmark where you are up to (Insert>Bookmark, etc) or you can do what I call an "artificial edit" whereby you type a letter or press the spacebar at the point you are up to, then backspace to delete it. Save the document and close. The next time you open the document hold down Shift and press F5. That should take you to where you last "edited" the document. It works in my Word 97 and hopefully it will work for you too. If you used the bookmark option just press F5 when you open the document and choose Bookmark in the dialogue box. |
