| 82359 | 2002-09-23 15:10:00 | HI, I am just wondering, since my computer is used by my brothers and sisters quite often to play games/use microsoft word..I would love some secruity on here.. I know i can make them a "user name" and password, but would like to know if the document folders etc from mine will be seen/ able to be used in theirs.. If not..what about games? would they be able to see/play the games i have on mine...along with microsoft word etc... Also Installing, i get mad with my bro since he thinks some programs dont work so he tries installing them again and again and again till they work, is there some sort of password setup thing anywhere that i can use to "prevent" installing happen till a password is used... **at ucol they have a install sheild on the server but thats business class so dont know if anything like that is possible on a home desktop** Hope to have some ideas/recommendations soon Chris |
