Here's a clip from the intro: As soon as I began to receive KT400 motherboards from different manufacturers, and I looked over and saw a stack of KT333 motherboards that had still not had their chance on the review table, I knew this article was a must . | 82337 | 2002-09-24 06:51:00 | That link about the SACD and DVD-A, unfortunately sounds like it was written by someone who had only just realised that there have been advances in technology since LP's For 1 a hybrid-SACD will sound exactly the same as a normal CD. Unless you have a SACD player. (which no one has yet) It also failed to mention that when these products take off their will be no more ripping of CD's as these are digitally secure. In otherwords, the advent of this technology could make ripping mp3's so much harder. It also failed to mention Sony charges the earth for the use of its SACD technology, whereas DVD-A is heaps cheaper, as its by a consortium. (might even be free) and you still have to ask the question. With new technology why would we still want to carry around bulky portable CD players. Theres my 2c worth |
