2002-09-23 22:51:00 You may need to go to windowsupdate.com and install Microsoft's "Java Virutal Machine" codegirl (1038)
2002-09-23 23:27:00 Hey ok ill do that do you know the exact url of the download??

2002-09-23 23:46:00 Try this java.sun.com Jim B (153)
2002-09-23 23:48:00 Go to that site, and it will run a self check off all available updates and patches for your OS. Java virtual machine should be among them. You can skip the rest and only install that component.

What has most likely happened is that you (or someone else who uses your machine) fell for the teddybear virus hoax and deleted the component.
