| 1314963 | 2012-11-26 18:16:00 | Hi, I'm looking for the voltage requirementes/ the right power supply of this ( . modem-help . co . uk/Pro-Nets/VD56SPV-56k-SVD-Data-Fax-Speakerphone-External . html" target="_blank">www . modem-help . co . uk) modem . On the modem there is no exact indication, only "ac" is printed under the power socket . I have a "candidate" power supply which outputs 12V AC and physically fits the socket, but I don't want to go by trial and error . . . ;-) I wasn't able to find this info anywhere on the web . . . Apparently, it was on the market from quite a number of different brands (rockwell, speedcom, conexant, pro-nets, chronos, mecotek etc) based on the conexant rp56d/sp chip or similars . There were also apparently similar modems, like vd56sp and vd56sps Does anyone still have it and/or a similar one and/or that information? Could anyone suggest how to get that "piece of spec" :-) Thanks in advance PS there was a thread . pcworld . co . nz/showthread . php?88601-Speedcom-VD56SPS-External-Serial-Modem" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz about it in 2008 between two still active users, but as a new user I cannot private message them (yet) . . . :-( |

| 1314964 | 2012-11-27 07:36:00 | I have Speed Com+ 56K Voice Fax Modem VD56SP, the power supply transformer output is 9V AC 1Amp. Looks very similar to the picture you posted but is not mounted vertically, it sits horizontally and is all black. |
