Installed linux mint 14 cinnamon through windows using mint4win.exe, everytime i boot the os it says completing installation and still has the option of installing it on the desktop. Any ideas how to fix these problems? thank you in advance |

I would look on the Linux mint forum. Or ask your question there |

How are you booting it? Is this every time you boot Windows or boot Mint? |

I am far from a expert but, from the experience I have had with linux, I have found it will run a whole lot better & faster, if you run it alongside windows, not from within. |

Agreed. Make a partition of it for it to have, (Better still, leave the space unpartitioned) and let it do its thing with that unpartitioned space and take over. It'll ave a world of heartache :D |
