2012-11-21 10:47:00 | Is mobicity a trustworthy website/company to buy products from? Has anyone delt with them? | stratex5 (16685) | |
2012-11-21 18:28:00 | A recent thread here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) discusses the same question about Mobicity. | Jen (38) | |

2012-11-21 19:38:00 | Yes excellent I bought a phone and can't praise them enough so far, however I haven't needed to test their returns policy so can't say on that point | gary67 (56) | |
2012-11-21 19:40:00 | Thanks gary, did you need to pay tax on top or was that covered in the price? | stratex5 (16685) | |
2012-11-21 20:11:00 | Read the previous thread as Jen suggested. I can't point to it atm but I asked asked quite a number of questions and there was a fair amount of discussion on the pros and cons. I am happy with the result. Bluenose

| 1313838 | 2012-11-21 22:56:00 | Thanks gary, did you need to pay tax on top or was that covered in the price? The seller is not interested in your tax obligations, but it comes out of Oz Tax-free. However, if picked up by Customs as it crosses our border, and it should be, it will incur GST. You can get lucky though, recently I brought in a very expensive electronic instrument from the US (a few thousands NZ, and not on the exempt list) and it just arrived at the door with no duty or GST.
