| 1313758 | 2012-11-20 22:21:00 | Some months ago there was a thread regarding MSSE not working properly. The problem was caused by one of the settings in Ccleaner. I am now having the same problem but can't remember which setting it was and not been able to find the thread again. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks. Bluenose. |

| 1313760 | 2012-11-20 23:17:00 | Only thing I remember in regard to ccleaner was ms search. Not MSE. What's MSE not doing then?? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1313762 | 2012-11-21 02:03:00 | Thanks Speedy and Nick G. I think we are talking about the same thing MicroSoft Security Essentials and Microsoft Security Essentials. The Symptom is that everytime I boot the PC I have to validate the security software. From memory the "fix" was one of the items in Ccleaner had to be "Unchecked" but I can't remember which one. Thanks. |
