1290948 2012-07-26 06:33:00 There are some riots and firebombings going on there right now over an alleged racially motivated illegal murder of a suspect by the Anaheim Police Department.

SPECIAL BULLETIN: A gunman had opened fire on an officer at the end of a stolen-car-turned-foot pursuit and was killed in Anaheim's second fatal officer-involved shooting in two days, authorities said Monday.

The shooting climaxed an incident that began around 11:20 p.m. Sunday, when anti-gang officers spotted a known gang member on probation in what they soon determined was a stolen car, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said. They were pursuing the vehicle when the driver lost control on on West Guinida Lane, and two men and a woman bailed.

“The officers were in foot pursuit for about a half-block when one male suspect fired at the officers,” Dunn said. “The officers returned fire, striking the suspect, who was dead at the scene.”

A gun was found next to the body, he said, adding that the second male suspect was detained, but the female got away, and a perimeter search for her was under way.

Two police officers have been placed on paid, police Chief John Welter said Sunday.

The dead man's sister, Lupe Diaz, said Sunday that her brother was "just hanging out with friends" before the shooting. "There is no explanation," Diaz said. "It's not fair."

As Anaheim city officials held the news conference Sunday afternoon, demonstrators coalesced in the lobby of the Anaheim Police Department headquarters on Harbor Boulevard, chanting messages such as "No justice, no peace," "Justice for Manuel" and "Cops, pigs, murderers" in front of a row of five police officers.

Anaheim police "are not judge, jury and executioner. Nobody is given their due process," said demonstrator Theresa Mendoza-Jones, a community organizer whose son, Roberto Raymundo Delacruz, was fatally shot by Anaheim police two years ago.

Delacruz was shot while he had a woman hostage held at gun and knife point after a botched kidnapping attempt. He had stabbed the 6 months old child lying at the feet of the mother he was holding as she watched it dying on the sidewalk.

He was shot by a sniper when the situation started to go out of control and an angry crowd started throwing flaming Molotov cocktails and explosive devices at the police.

Several police cars and one police motorcycle were lost in the resulting fires and store front windows were shattered and many electronic products were stolen through the broken doors and windows.

Many of the riotous crowd arrested turned out to be undocumented aliens who were quickly extradited back to Mexico through their Consulate General who demanded their freedom from potential false charges in the US.

To date they have not been charged by Mexican officials and they remain at large in their own country.

Aliens are not allowed to own handguns nor projectile firing long barrel rifles. Naturalized citizens are under the same stipulations.

This whole situation would have been a non-event if the laws that exist had been - or were allowed to be enforced. However, illegal aliens are demanding their Constitutional Rights - which they do not have since they are not US citizens in the first place.

There's something wrong here if illegals can dictate the law in a country in which they are not allowed to be in and are in it illegally in the first place.

If he shot at police he got everything he deserved.
