1290783	2012-07-25 12:40:00	I have to be in welly on saturday for a PD thing for work....... groan :stare: have to be there for a 8.30 start at Vic uni, am wondering about parking? cost and where is the best place to park which is walkable to vic? its a all day thing. and most direct route for us to take to get there, been a long time since ive driven there so........ things may have changed...:) thanks :) beetle	beetle (243)
1290784	2012-07-25 12:49:00	Just up the hill they have coupon parking, I imagine you may need to see the WCC (council) about that :confused: Just a few minutes up from the uni depending on where you can find a parking slot. You could just park around the city near the stadium or across the road at the waterfront, they do have v early bid parking specials too. Then take the bus at the bus terminal (near the Pipitea uni city campus) and take a $2 bus up .. Bus 17 if not mistaken. $8-12 early bid or $15 something I would imagine. Some city place cost like $20 or so .. Or you could just park for free in Karori and bus down to the campus. There is also a pay and display area outside the science faculties. On the main road of Kelburn Parade but just further up from the Hunter Building. Not sure how much thou ... and not sure if discounted for weekends. www.victoria.ac.nz	Nomad (952)

1290786	2012-07-26 00:16:00	Wellington on street pay and display parking "Saturday & Sunday: 8.00am - 6.00pm (no fee required however time restriction applies)" I don't know what the maximum time for the Kelburn Parade parks is.	PaulD (232)
1290787	2012-07-26 08:56:00	Beetle, I think the best is to park at Gate 6 which is just behind the Science faculties . It is on Kelburn Parade (the main road) and go up the hill until you see a roundabout with most cars going up/down the hill . Right on the roundabout there is Gate 6 which turns into the University . On a weekday (today), it is $3 . 50/hr or $10 for the day . It didn't display any weekend information today . A return bus fare is going to be $4 if you park at the city or at Karori .	Nomad (952)

1290789	2012-07-28 21:42:00	Well, getting up at 4am is not my next favourite ever thing on any list, :p we left at 5 am from wanga's , stopped at pram for coffee and breaky, got to vic uni at 8 . 05, and we managed to park on donald street at that stage . . . . . . . . . no charge, but man after that . . . ya had to walk miles . . . . the cars were parked for a long way by the sound of it . . . . we were lucky to be early birds . . Only 900 + teachers turned up . . . . . . . . :) it was a great day, 4 lectures given that i chose, lol and got to play, draw and handle insects . . . hmmmmmmmm beetles were not on the list . . . . . and then we went to the beach for a walk, had tea at parapararam?sp? and pickup up kids and home by 9pm . . . . . . . . came home with artwork and a jar of worms . . . and some shells . . . . . . . . . lol :D and thanks to google maps and a fairly good memory we didnt get lost navigating round welly . . . :) beetle	beetle (243)
