1290673 2012-07-27 10:17:00 This speech from the Godfrey Bloom MEP (United Kingdom Independence Party which is the second largest British Party in the European Parliament,) that has the platform of withdrawing Britain from the European Union. In 1975, we had a referendum in Britain on remaining in the EEC, which has since morphed into the European Union. British voters have not been allowed a say on the European Union, or the Treaties of Maastricht or Lisbon which resulted in the formation of the European Union, although this was supposed to happen, and were held in a number in a of European Countries. In several countries there were multiple referendums held because in the first instances the electorate did not deliver the result required.
All the main political parties in Britain support the concept of the EU, with ever closer political, and fiscal Union, which is on path to eventually become a United States of Europe, whether the actual citizens of the EU member states want it or not.

In Britain, polling indicates that some 2/3rds of British Electorate want a simple IN/OUT referendum on the EU, but British politicans, especially PM David Cameron, do not want the people to have a say. This stance of the establishment of the Professional Political Classes against their own people has given rise to the formation of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) led by Nigel Farage, who is a dynamic speaker unafraid to tell it as it is no matter who he offends .

Nigel Farage predicted the problems that we now have emerging with Spanish and Italian Debt, which could not only bring the Euro down but cause a Global Financial Crisis on par with the great depression of the 1930s. While the political slagging off may seem to be a bit if a hoot, the consequences of the Eurozone problems will affect the whole world, not just the Europeans, and all because of the EU vanity project.

Bloody sobering thought - Pass the Glenfiddich please.
