Yeah but it certainly helps in benchmarks, i have a low end nvidia card from last year which beats my 7950 (i5 2500) in physics rendering by about 40fps. |

Ok, Im thinking maybe I could stretch to the HD 7870,.. Do the brands.. eg.. HIS ati, Gigabyte , matter at all?. Also is there a possibility having a "HD 5570" at the mo, that this "HD 7870" would not fit into my computer? Do the fans always sit to the bottom? Thanks |

Asus and Gigabyte are the better brands. Sapphire is pretty good too. There aren't really any terrible brands. Unless you have a very small case the 7870 should fit. They aren't particularly big. Fans on GPU's almost always face the same direction (relative to the motherboard). |

if you don't want to pay for asus/gigabyte then defiantly sapphire is great value for price, never had a problem with one of their products and a brand new asus 7950 was DOA sooooo, no it doesn't really matter. |
