They could use the likes of him. I think they can find plenty of people who can throw well - at inanimate objects. Why praise some revolting kid who thinks it's fun to harm living things? |

Having been 12 years old myself many many years ago I suspect that kid was almost as surprised as the Kea when he actually hit it. I do not believe the whole affair warranted national news coverage. The kid just needed a figurative boot in the rear end and then left to get on with his life. |

I was working away when a Pukeko walked past so I held the safety lever in and fired a shot from a nail gun as anyone would because its an impossible shot but I got the puke and fell over flapping till it died. No probs though you can legally shoot pukes and they are nasty birds anyway. |
