But isn't a pity that no publisher in NZ was interested in her work and so like so may other kiwis, she had to go overseas to find a publisher for her work . Only then was she recognised in NZ . Seem to remember that Flight of the Conchords had to go the same way . There have been many others over the years that have gone - mainly to Oz - for recognition . It's a sad reflection on NZ . |
