Have a look at your VIN plate and see which engine it has?
IIRC SR20D engines have a chain. |

Turns out it doesn't have one, its the chain version, he bought it for $2k |

With those engines, if the cam/rockers are squeaking and/or rattling, DON'T buy it, it's had insufficient oil changes and the pipes/nozzles that squirt oil onto the cam-lobes have blocked up (a common problem). :eek::waughh: |

K's seem to be a bit low, if original engine, almost out by 100, 000 K. If the chain rattles on cold start up, may need new tensioner and/or top guide. Cam sensors can die on SR20's after about 15 or so years, if the distributor oil seal has not been changed. Swapped out a few. |
