| 82927 | 2002-09-25 03:50:00 | Have a friend using Win me and Outlook Express 6 When trying to open inbox, he receives the message "no items in inbox". He knows there are at least four new e-mails there. Has run Norton anti-virus, with no virus detected. The only thing he suspects is a problem trying to download photo's from a real estate website in the U.K. prior to his e-mail disappearing. I haven't been to see the problem yet, but I'm sure I've read about this somewhere before. Thanks for any help Jock |

Select Tools/Current View Make sure show all messages is selected. If they have mail rules set up they may have gone into deleted items or some other folder. |

If it's empty then get him to send a test message to himself and see if it gets through. Also check the mail rules to make sure there isn't a generic one to delete files from server. |
