| 82777 | 2002-09-24 20:33:00 | Hi,can someone please tell me how to enter the Primary and Secondary DNS info in Win95 Ie/Oe 4.Trying to set up a pc that a friend has bought for his mother, who has never touched a pc before.Have found where to enter the outgoing and incoming mail settings,as supplied by paradise.Thanks. | Neil McC (178) | ||

If you want to put them in they are added to the Dialup Networking connection. Double click Mycomputer Double click Dialup networking Right click ISP connection icon and select properties Select Server types from the Tab at the top. Click on TCP/IP Settings You should have Server assigned IP address and Server assigned name server address selected here. If you want to put in DNS you select Specify name server address but as I mentioned this is not necessary normally. |
