| 82602 | 2002-09-24 10:33:00 | I've got two graphics cards. I just inserted the second one (into PCI Slot 2 - as the other graphics card is in slot 1) and its come up and is working fine. Both are multi-monitor compatible, as I've used them before with Win98 before a PC upgrade. I'm now on Win2K, and it's using the second graphics card (PCI Slot 2), and in the display settings, nothing shows up like it did in 98. Why not, and what's gone wrong. Also, what's MPeg audio for? There's a little connector for it on my newly installed (Second - PCI Slot2) Graphics card, and I dunno what it can be used for. I at one stage had 4 monitors running of my 98 machine before it had a huge upgrade/overhaul, so why cant i even run 2 in Win2K?? Please tell me it's still supported!!! Cheers Chilling_Silence BTW, Its not showing up in the hardware config either (The first card..) It's in securely enough, coz when I took out the second, the first one kicked in perfectly. Both are configured correctly in doze. I'm just fully stuck Thanks in advance |

| 82603 | 2002-09-24 10:53:00 | Also, Nothing comes up on startup, whereas in 98, the message came up saying "If you can see this message, doze has initialized you display adapter, you will need to extend your desktop in the display settings" or somthing like that. That doesn't come up now?? Any help much appreciated Cheers Chilling_Silence |
