82581 2002-09-24 10:32:00 By chance have you downloaded the "plus" version. From memory there were two different players....... a subscription and a free version

I had RealOne ages ago, but ditched it due to trying to always be the default player.

82582 2002-09-24 10:36:00 You have to purchase one online, unless your avoiding payment buy download a key generator. which is generally shunned upon, support RealNetworks and purchase. or download a free alternate like <a href"=http://www.winamp.com>.

82583 2002-09-24 10:50:00 Amen to winamp, Unless you're using the Real Audio formats, Winamp will play MP3's and WMA files!
Winamp 2.81 would be best bet, but If you've got a shiny new PC (1Ghz Up would be reccommended by myself, not celeron either, coz my 933celeron stuggles with multi tasking WinAmp3)
The thing about WinAmp3 is that it has MP3 in the title, I reakon that's kewl!

Cheers

82587 2002-09-24 12:39:00 Did you look for the answer on RealPlayer site . .

"Playing Secured RealJukebox files (* . rmx)

Media that has been recorded by RealJukebox as secured files can only be played if the Security Key Encryption key generated and used by RealJukebox when creating secured RealMedia files ( . rmx) .

Go to Tools>Preferences>My Library>Advanced My Library to backup or restore the key . has been entered into RealOne Player .

This happens automatically if you have upgraded from RealJukebox to RealOne Player .

If you installed RealOne Player without RealJukebox, or if the Security Key has been deactivated during an installation or update, you will need to Restore the Security Key from a backup copy (on floppy disk) .

See Tools>references>My Library>Advanced My Library>Security Key for details .

Once RealOne Player has a current copy of your Security Key, you will be able to play and convert all of your old secured RealJukebox files . "

82588 2002-09-24 12:47:00 Yes I did look there first and they told me what you have however I did not back up my security key. I installed the realone player after I had problems with realjukebox. I have not used another computer but it obviously didn't reinstall the key. I came here to see if there was ANY other way I can play my music files. aylamoon (2012)
82589 2002-09-24 13:11:00 Musicmatch Jukebox and Winamp will both play your music. Both are free downloads.

I personally prefer Musicmatch but Winamp is pretty cool also.

You can also use Windows Media Player which you will have already installed on your computer.
