| 82450 | 2002-09-24 08:16:00 | Hi, Just installed XP prof. The computer is a P3 500 with 256MB ram. Goes fine except XP doesn't recognise the leadtek Gforce 2 GTS, so wont play any games. What should I do? Also The computer on shutdown now requires a manual switching off/power pack at back of computer. Can this also be fixed? Does SP1 or 2 fix all this? Bios upgrade Thanks. |

| 82451 | 2002-09-24 08:45:00 | It's not supported by XP - check the Hardware Compatability List (HCL) Microsoft Windows XP HCL (www.microsoft.com) When installing any version of NT - and both 2000 and XP are variants - check MS for compatability else go to the manufacturer and search in the downloads for updated drivers. And if the drivers don't exist, either make do without or don't install. WinFast (http://www.leadtek.com.tw/) |
