| 82591 | 2002-09-24 22:42:00 | i personally HATE real player, alltho the actual codec is not bad. however if i understand it correctly, much like WMP, if you create music with it it makes a key for that song so only he who has the key can play it. if that key has been deleted then you will have to remake the music. i would be inclined to ditch realplayer and use a free format that dosn't use 'keys'. if you are ripping cd's then cdex using ogg format is a good choice. free, open source, and popular free players can play it with out the need of keys. |

| 82592 | 2002-09-25 02:04:00 | The only option that may be open to you is to see if Real Jukebox will let you back up the security key to a floppy, or is Jukebox not working at all? Otherwise as has been said, you will have to dump your encrypted music. Real Jukebox is a pain anyway. Also from what Ive seen the earlier versions of Real Player are more convenient. You can still get Real Player Basic version 8. www.real.com.au |
